Our Employment Services Program helps individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful employment while maximizing their ability to live independently. DRC staff work closely with job seekers, including consumers referred by the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), to identify the combination of services, supports, and resources that best meet their unique needs and career goals.

Because every individual brings different strengths, experiences, and challenges, our services are personalized to provide the greatest opportunity for long-term employment success. We support participants throughout the employment process, from career exploration and job readiness to job retention and career advancement.

Program services include, but are not limited to:

Job development, job search, and placement assistance
Career counseling and guidance
We help individuals explore employment options, identify available resources, and develop the skills needed to secure a job that matches their interests, abilities, and goals.
Resume development and writing assistance
Interview preparation and skills training
Mobility and transportation training
Computer and technology skills training

Through collaboration with DOR and other community partners, DRC empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence, self-sufficiency, and success in the workplace.
